Crestone Artists will host the annual studio tour on the second weekend of October. I’ll open my art studio for visits on Saturday and Sunday, October 12 + 13 from 12-5pm.

There are tons of Airbnb rentals in Crestone, so it’s easy to make a weekend of it from the front range or Santa fe. Crestone is also near the Sand Dunes National Monument, which is definitely worth a visit!

There are hot springs in the area, and Joyful Journey mineral springs even has a few guest rooms.

The views around the valley are stunning, and well worth the drive. Crestone is halfway between Salida and Alamosa. It’s also about 2 hours from Ojo Caliente Hot Springs Resort.

Apart from the natural beauty, I’ve always got some special pricing on original art during open studios, so if you are looking for a larger piece or a collection of smaller pieces, do come visit!
